Aegis
Attested elsewhere in ancient sourcesAthena's magical shield bearing the head of Medusa. In Greek mythology, the aegis was associated with Zeus and Athena, often depicted as a shield or breastplate. When wielded by Athena, it carried the fearsome power to turn enemies to stone or fill them with terror.
