Goddess of wisdom, strategic warfare, and crafts. Born fully armored from Zeus's head, Athena was one of the most respected Olympian deities. Sparta honored her strategic aspects, while Athens (named for her) celebrated her wisdom and crafts. Her symbols include the owl, olive tree, and aegis shield.
