The legendary hero who tamed the winged horse Pegasus and slew the monstrous Chimera. In Kalaxes' treasury, the dragon mocks Bellerophon's achievement, claiming the hero never found the Chimera's true lair, which Kalaxes later discovered and turned its inhabitant to gold.
