Tartarus

The deepest, most terrible region of the Greek underworld where the wicked are punished and the most dangerous beings are imprisoned. It's described as a landscape of extremes - rivers of fire cut through plains of razor-sharp stone, mountains of ice tower over lakes of boiling blood, with the very air shimmering with unnatural energies.
