Theron

THEER-on

Recorded in this scroll alone

One of the mercenary captains under Alcibiades, and the one who does the laughing.

He is the voice that puts the arrangement plainly: that the barbarians have been hoarding wealth for generations, and that there will be plenty of gold to go around.

Theron is a known Greek name, borne among others by a tyrant of Acragas. This man is named only here.

Acenes of Sparta: The Dragon Slayer
